Welcome

Hello!

I have finally decided that I am jumping on the blogging bandwagon.

Last year I experienced something that I never thought would happen to me, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia and then, 5 months later after treatment, thankfully, was told I was in remission, which you can read all about over in my little 'Dealing With Cancer' section. After everything that was thrown at me last year, I have decided to pursue my love of all things makeup and share with you my ideas and colourful creations! I will also be putting up a few posts here and there about dealing with the 'Big C.'

Feel free to browse around, comment and even follow if you enjoy and want to keep up to date with me.

Love Emily xx

  1. Hi Emily - Congratulations on your blog and being so positive about your leukaemia ... I am certain that your thoughts, comments and ideas will be helpful to many. I certainly will let others know re your approach ...

So good to know you are in remission ... and that you're doing your best to improve in all aspects of your life .. especially that mental approach.

Blogging is certainly therapeutic ... as I've found during the years my elderly mother was bedridden and in a nursing centre - thankfully she could talk and so our lives were positive.

I'll be back to look through your blog and the various posts .. but for now - enjoy the Spring like weather we seem (at last) to be having ... and long may your recovery last and improve ... so pleased for you - cheers Hilary

PS - you missed "all the fun" of the storms at Aberystwyth - must have been interesting for the other students, but quite stressful too - not knowing what the weather was doing ... I expect you heard lots of tales ...

Oooh gosh and I forgot about your fine art course .. looks like you're very talented - I loved those costumes and make up ..

    1. Thank you and thank you so much for your kind words, I appreciate it. I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, but I'm glad you can still be positive.

I know, the storms were crazy in Aber! I did get updates from my friends who were there!
Thank you very much, have a lovely week! xxx

  2. Thanks so much Emily - what I thought would be a difficult and sad experience turned into a very positive 5+ years for which I'm grateful I was able to be around to support her during all those last years.

However - it really is wonderful to see you being so positive and thoughtful for others ... all the very best to you and the family ... and have fun with those studies and your creative side ...

    Cheers Hilary
